Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and product stewardship across our European operations. Your main responsibilities include:

Supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Regulatory Affairs and Product Stewardship systems.
Monitoring and assessing regulatory developments related to chemical products, environmental protection, health, and safety requirements.
Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, including product classification, labeling, packaging, and registration requirements.
Providing regulatory guidance and support to various business functions and production sites across Europe.
Acting as a point of contact for authorities, industry associations, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
Supporting REACH compliance activities and other regulatory initiatives within the organization.
Participating in REACH consortia and external industry working groups relevant to our product portfolio.
Collaborating closely with international and cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of regulatory processes, standards, and best practices.

Anforderungen

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, or a related scientific discipline.
At least five years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs within an industrial or chemical manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of chemical regulations, including REACH, CLP, and other relevant European legislation.
Knowledge of toxicology and ecotoxicology would be an advantage.
Experience with Dangerous Goods regulations is considered a plus.
Excellent communication skills in Italian and English; additional language skills such as German, French, or Dutch are advantageous.
The ability to communicate and implement regulatory requirements effectively across different stakeholders.
A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in an international and intercultural environment.
Experience working within a matrix organization and across multiple locations.
A valid work permit and the right to work and reside in Italy.
